Design One Printing is a leading Las Vegas print shop specializing in wide-format and digital printing solutions. We’re known for delivering top-quality print products and outstanding customer service. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Finisher to join our Large Format team and support production operations.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Finisher will work closely with the production team to complete large format print projects with precision and efficiency. This role involves handling finishing processes such as trimming, laminating, mounting, and preparing final products for delivery. Experience in wide-format print finishing is required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in large format print finishing or related production environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating laminators, trimmers, cutters, and mounting equipment.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of finishing techniques and substrate handling.
• Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for precision, accuracy, and quality assurance.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with production staff and designers.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with vinyl application and installations.
• Familiarity with color calibration and print finishing standards.
• Knowledge of large format printing processes (HP, Roland, Epson) is a plus.

• Perform finishing tasks including trimming, laminating, mounting, and packaging large format prints.
• Operate finishing equipment such as cutters, laminators, trimmers, and mounting presses.
• Assist with the setup and completion of wide-format printing projects.
• Ensure quality control on all finished products, meeting client and company standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Manage and prepare materials and substrates used in finishing.
• Support the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Assist with inventory management of finishing supplies.
