JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an Office Copier/MFP Solutions Consultant to help businesses optimize their document workflows through advanced multifunction printers (MFPs), managed print services (MPS), and cost-saving strategies. You’ll work with SMBs and enterprises to assess their printing infrastructure, recommend tailored copier/MFP solutions, and drive revenue growth.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years in technology sales, services, copier/MFP sales, MPS, or office technology consulting.
  • Learning: Deep knowledge of A3/A4 MFPs, print servers, fleet management tools, and document workflow software.
  • Learning: Strong understanding of lease vs. buy models, service agreements, and toner/parts logistics.
  • Proven ability to sell to C-level execs, IT managers, and office administrators.
  • Certifications (a plus): Manufacturer training (Xerox, Canon, Ricoh), CompTIA CDIA+, MPSA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with computer network, printing (MFPs)
  • Experience in document management solutions (e.g., SharePoint integration, ECM systems).

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Needs Assessment: Analyze clients’ current print environments, including volume, workflows, pain points, and costs.
  • Solution Design: Recommend copiers/MFPs (e.g., Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, HP) and MPS programs to improve efficiency, security, and sustainability.
  • Product Demos: Showcase MFP features (scan-to-cloud, secure printing, OCR, automation) and software integrations (PaperCut, Kofax, eCopy).
  • Cost Analysis: Prepare TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI reports to justify upgrades or MPS adoption.
  • Sales Pipeline: Generate leads, close deals, and meet quarterly quotas for hardware, service contracts, and supplies.
  • Vendor Coordination: Partner with manufacturers and IT teams to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Training & Support: Educate clients on maximizing MFP capabilities and reducing waste.
