Position Summary As a Printer Slotter Helper you will be responsible for set up, assisting or operating printing press to print designs or lettering on corrugated sheets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Sets up machine and reviews specifications on the job order. Visually checks stock in accordance with the job ticket specifications (color, flute, and scoring). Zeros and sections out the press. Sets any required die cut attachments. Starts and finishes ink wash-up/change.  * Put stock in hopper. Set up stacker and lay boy as needed. Feed order.   * Perform routine cleaning to ensure optimal machine performance, and promptly report any malfunctions or issues to maintenance.  * Follow production schedules and complete work in a timely manner to meet production goals. * Adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. * Conduct quality checks and inspections on materials to ensure they meet Plant Quality Standards. * Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork as directed. * Work closely with the printer team and assist Printer Slotter Operator and 2nd Helper as directed.     Cultural Competencies    Help First means being a reliable team member serving everyone, internally and externally. Responsibilities
The Helper is responsible for setting up and assisting with or operating the printing press to print designs on corrugated sheets, which includes machine setup, stock handling, and routine cleaning. This role also requires adherence to production schedules, safety guidelines, and conducting quality checks while supporting the Printer Slotter Operator and 2nd Helper.
