Piper Companies is seeking a Prisma Access Consultant to join a leading cybersecurity team through a fully remote opportunity. This role offers the chance to work hands-on with cutting-edge SASE technologies and help clients secure their digital environments.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PRISMA ACCESS CONSULTANT INCLUDE:

  • 4+ years of experience in professional services or similar function with a BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking protocols and technologies including switching, routing, firewalls, and security solutions.
  • Experience with Remote Access VPNs, IPSec, PKI & SSL, TCP/IP, and authentication protocols (LDAP, RADIUS, SAML).
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet, Symantec/Blue Coat, or Zscaler.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to use tools like tcpdump and Wireshark.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to senior leaders and technical peers.
Responsibilities
  • Migrate customers from legacy firewall technologies to Palo Alto Networks platforms.
  • Build custom security policies and application signatures tailored to client needs.
  • Provide deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting expertise for Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • Analyze logs and events to perform initial troubleshooting and issue identification.
  • Work with the Technical Assistance Center to resolve support cases and provide mentorship on code upgrades and best practices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and maintain high customer satisfaction.
