JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Join BD’s Privacy Office as a Privacy Analyst – Operations and play a key role in delivering high-quality operational and analytical support for the company’s global Privacy and Data Protection Program. Reporting to the Head of Privacy Operations, this role is central to ensuring the smooth intake, management and resolution of privacy-related queries, requests and tasks from colleagues, contractors and external parties across all regions. You will help drive the implementation of privacy processes, tools and best practices that contribute to a consistent and efficient approach to privacy across the organisation. This is a remote position, and you can be based in any European country.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor privacy-dedicated mailboxes to triage and manage incoming requests, complaints, and incident notifications from internal and external sources.
  • Provide support in maintaining inventories related to data processing activities, IT applications, third parties, and products across regions and functions.
  • Assist in the performance of privacy impact assessments and contribute to the remediation of identified risks.
  • Offer technical and procedural guidance on privacy matters and call out high-priority risks to senior members of the Privacy Office when needed.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical OneTrust requests and support related change management processes.
  • Support the development of regular and ad-hoc trend reports on requests received from internal and external contacts, including regulators.
  • Contribute to the creation of privacy-related tools, training materials, internal guidance and content for the BD intranet.
  • Promote simplification and standardisation of privacy-related processes and interactions across departments.
