What You’ll Work On

• Privacy – Help ensure GDPR and ePrivacy compliance for products used in homes around the world.
• AI Governance – Contribute to our readiness for the EU AI Act, supporting ethical and transparent AI use in our products.
• Product Compliance – Assist in reviews for CE marking, safety, and environmental regulations for Sonos products across Europe.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Security teams to weave compliance into every stage of product development.
• Track and brief the team on regulatory changes that could impact our technology and customers.
• Support audits, regulatory submissions, and incident response processes.

What You Bring

• Currently studying law (preferably LLM) with an interest in tech law, AI regulation, and/or product compliance.
• Some knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, or EU product safety standards (or a willingness to dive in and learn fast).
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse teams.

The Details

• Location: Remote from anywhere in The Netherlands.
• Duration: 6–12 months (full or part-time) with potential extension.
• Allowance: €1000/month (based on 40 hours/week).
