Description
We are seeking a professionally trained Private Chef to manage the full culinary requirements of a private household. The ideal candidate must have completed formal culinary training, have at least 5 years of professional experience, and be highly proficient in English. They should be confident managing a fully equipped kitchen independently and capable of preparing a wide variety of high-quality meals. Responsibilities Plan weekly menus based on preferences, nutrition goals, and schedule Prepare and serve daily meals to a high standard Accurately calculate calories, macros, portions, and ingredients Develop healthy, high-protein, and customised meals when required Experiment with different cuisines, ingredients, techniques, and food science Purchase groceries and source quality ingredients Manage pantry, refrigerator, freezer, stock levels, and expiry dates Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene, food safety, cleanliness, and organisation Minimise food waste and manage grocery spending responsibly Prepare meals for guests and small private gatherings when required Maintain discretion, professionalism, and household privacy Requirements Formal culinary-school qualification Minimum 5 years of professional chef experience Strong spoken and written English Experience in menu planning, grocery purchasing, and kitchen management Good knowledge of nutrition, calorie counting, and macronutrients Ability to cook a broad range of international cuisines Creative, organised, clean, reliable, and able to work independently Private household experience is preferred but not essential The employer encourages creative freedom, experimentation, and new ideas, and will be actively involved in menu and dietary planning.
