JOB OVERVIEW
You will serve as the private chef for an executive with a demanding schedule and high standards for nutrition, quality, and presentation. Your specialty will be formal French or Italian cuisine with a focus on multiple smaller meals throughout the day rather than fewer large ones. All meal preparation must strictly follow guidance from the client’s nutritionist, emphasizing healthy, organic, and nutrient-dense foods.

Develop daily menus consisting of five smaller, nutritionally balanced meals incorporating rich organic fruits, produce, a heavy emphasis on seafood including sushi, gourmet protein shakes, and smoothies.
Maintain an immaculate kitchen environment, manage food inventories and expiration tracking, and ensure proper storage conditions in line with food safety standards.
Collaborate with the executive’s personal assistant in planning and executing parties and special events, crafting menus, overseeing catering logistics, and managing kitchen staff.
Hire, train, and manage sous chefs and kitchen assistants as needed to ensure smooth culinary operations.
Work alongside household staff to synchronize meal timing with daily schedules and home operations.
Work closely with the executive’s nutritionist to ensure strict adherence to dietary guidelines and preferences.
Responsible for all food provisioning including sourcing fresh ingredients primarily from farmer’s markets, fine food stores, and specialty organic suppliers.
Prepare and serve meals with a high level of culinary craftsmanship, focusing on formal French and Italian culinary techniques.
Curate and recommend wine pairings for guests; the executive abstains from alcohol but guests usually partake. Additionally, the chef will be responsible for mixology duties, crafting both premium cocktails and sophisticated mocktails to elevate guests’ beverage experiences, with expert attention to flavor balance, presentation, and seasonal ingredients.
