POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re hiring a Kitchen Manager to lead food service operations at a Greek chapter house on the Washington State University campus. As the lead chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing daily meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings culinary expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to exceptional service.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of culinary experience, preferably in high-volume or institutional settings
  • Experience with food ordering, kitchen operations, and inventory management
  • Ability to lead prep and meal service independently
  • ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and proactive
  • Familiarity with basic technology (email, apps, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Experience in repeat-service environments (e.g., campus dining, country clubs) is a plus
