We are a start-up agency preparing for our formal launch in September 2025, and we need passionate, dedicated caregivers to help us grow our team and serve families across the Greater Toronto Area.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Individuals who currently reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
  • Childcare professionals who are reliable, warm, and deeply empathetic
  • Candidates with experience caring for children of various ages (infants to school-aged)
  • Experience with disability support is highly valued
  • Familiarity with child development and early education practices is a strong asset
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification
  • Strong references from past families or employers
  • Must not be seeking sponsorship
Responsibilities

For Children of All Ages:

  • Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities that support growth and development
  • Preparing meals/snacks and supporting children’s unique dietary needs
  • Assisting with homework and fostering a love for learning through educational play
  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and clean environment
  • Communicating clearly and kindly with parents about their child’s day, milestones, or concerns
  • Supporting children with disabilities and thoughtfully adapting care to meet their needs
  • Planning social outings, playdates, and sensory activities to encourage connection and development

Newborn-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Providing attentive, gentle care for newborns including diapering, bathing, and soothing
  • Assisting with feeding routines, breastfeeding support, bottle preparation, and paced feeding
  • Monitoring baby’s sleep patterns and providing safe sleep environments
  • Tracking feeding, diaper changes, and sleep to update parents regularly
  • Offering overnight care to support family rest and recovery
  • Assisting families with newborn care education and support during the postpartum period
