To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be:

  • Ideally over 5 years of fee earning experience within Wills, Probate, LPAs, etc.
  • An excellent communicator with a client-focused approach.
  • A natural leader who can inspire and support a team.
  • Proactive and commercially minded, with a proven track record in business development.
  • Compassionate and professional, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations tactfully.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As the Head of Department / Private Client Partner, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the Wills and Probate team, driving performance and growth.
  • Handling a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate planning, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on empathy and understanding during sensitive times.
  • Developing and mentoring team members, fostering their professional growth and success.
  • Contributing to the firm’s business development and marketing efforts to attract new clients and grow the department.
