Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a busy Private Client team. The successful candidate will support the team in delivering exceptional client service by assisting with file progression and providing secretarial and administrative support. This is a client-facing, varied role offering the opportunity to work on Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate and Trust administration, and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCLIENT SERVICE

  • Assist with progressing files under the direction of the Team Leader, including the drafting of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and probate-related documents.
  • Deliver a professional, courteous, and efficient service to clients at all times.
  • Ensure all work adheres to internal standards and is completed in accordance with the firm’s templates and protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with the Solicitors Code of Conduct and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Promptly report any client concerns or complaints to the Head of Department.
  • Meet annual chargeable hour targets and assist in achieving team billing goals.
  • Support cross-departmental referrals where appropriate.
