Coppersmith are partnered with a small, niche solicitors dedicated to providing bespoke legal services with a personal touch.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in private client work and a passion for delivering excellent service to a range of primarily farming and land-owning clients.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a practising certificate in England and Wales.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client work.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including wills, trusts, probate, and tax law.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Law Degree / CILEX, LCP/SQE, SRA Practising Certificate.
  • Experience in farming and land-owning client matters or complex estates.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and case management software.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including but not limited to Drafting wills, Estate planning, Trust creation and administration, Probate and estate administration, Powers of attorney, & Tax planning.
  • Providing clear and tailored advice to clients, ensuring a high level of client care and satisfaction.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery across the firm.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in legislation and best practices in private client law.
  • Supervising Paralegals and/or trainees as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and professional standards.
