Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor ready to take the next step in your legal career? Our client, an award-winning and highly regarded law firm in Colchester, is looking to welcome a talented and motivated solicitor into their growing Private Client team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will manage a diverse caseload of Private Client matters including:

• Wills and trusts
• Probate and contentious probate
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Inheritance tax
• Estate planning

The role requires minimal supervision and a high standard of client service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently handle your own caseload of Private Client files
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records (electronic and hard copy)
• Monitor billing and cash flow, ensuring timely invoicing and follow-up
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and new client acquisition
• Ensure full compliance with SRA, AML and other regulatory obligations
• Mentor junior colleagues and assist in team development
• Stay updated with continuing professional development
