  • Excellent drafting, technical, and advisory skills.
  • Strong client care skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and empathetically.
  • Ability to manage caseload independently while working as part of a team.
  • Organised, proactive, and committed to high professional standards.
  • Must be available for a full-time, office-based role in Central London.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client work, providing specialist advice on wills, probate, trusts, tax planning, and powers of attorney. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships and develop expertise within a supportive and professional environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and tax planning.
  • Advise clients on estate and succession planning, inheritance tax, and wealth preservation strategies.
  • Draft wills, trust deeds, LPAs, and other relevant documents.
  • Handle probate applications and estate administration from start to finish.
  • Liaise with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, financial advisors, and other professionals.
  • Provide clear, practical advice to clients with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and firm procedures.
  • Actively contribute to business development, networking, and raising the profile of the department.
