Job Title: Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Shoreham. The firm is known for its client-focused approach and supportive working environment. This role is ideal for a legal professional with 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who is eager to develop their expertise within a thriving private client department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing tailored legal advice with empathy and professionalism.
• Supervising junior team members and assisting with their development (if applicable).
• Actively contributing to the growth and success of the department by participating in business development and networking activities.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 2 years PQE in private client law.
• Proven experience in handling a broad range of private client matters independently.
• Strong technical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A personable and client-focused approach, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
