PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR | 2-6 PQE | LEEDS

Location: Leeds
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week)
We are working on a fantastic opportunity with a well-established, award-winning Top 100 UK law firm that is continuing to grow its highly regarded Private Client team in Leeds. This firm has a stellar reputation for delivering exceptional legal services to high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor (2-6 years PQE), with the flexibility to appoint at Solicitor (up to 4 years PQE) or Associate (4+ years PQE) level depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-6 years PQE in Private Client law
  • Experience advising on a broad range of Private Client matters, with exposure to complex work and HNW clients being advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset
  • Desire to work in a supportive, knowledge-rich environment with excellent training and progression opportunities

Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload of Private Client matters, including:
  • Complex wills, trusts, estate planning, inheritance tax mitigation
  • Administration of estates and powers of attorney
  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate, Family, and Property departments on multi-disciplinary matters
  • Liaise with internal and external professionals on issues such as business succession, foreign assets, and HMRC compliance
  • Attend STEP events and actively build professional networks
