ASSOCIATE SOLICITOR – PRIVATE CLIENT

THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Solicitor to join the Private Client Advisory team in Newcastle. This role will see you advising high-net-worth individuals and families on the legal and tax aspects of estate and succession planning, supporting the continued growth of the firm’s private client offering in the North East.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advising on and administering complex wills, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney, and estate administration
• Advising on inheritance tax (IHT) planning and the taxation/administration of trusts and estates
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals, maintaining strong financial discipline
• Building and developing client and referrer relationships, with a strong focus on business development
• Contributing to the growth and development of the wider private client team
• Applying knowledge of the Newcastle private client market to strengthen the practice
