A forward-thinking firm is looking for an ambitious tax professional to step into a leadership role within the Private Client Tax team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical expertise with people management and business development, while working closely with Partners to shape the future direction of the department.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

• CTA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
• Extensive private client tax experience within practice.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills.
• Commercial awareness and proven business development track record.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of CCH software desirable.

• Advise clients on tax compliance, planning and structuring opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Review and sign off complex or high-risk tax work.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of tax specialists.
• Keep up to date with tax law changes and translate these into practical advice for clients.
• Drive business development through proposals, networking and thought-leadership activities.
• Work collaboratively across service lines to deliver seamless client solutions.
• Support the recruitment, training and development of team members.
• Promote the firm’s values and act as an ambassador internally and externally.
