Join one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work (Small Organisation category) — awarded two years in a row: 2024 & 2025!
We are seeking a talented and organised individual to join our firm, taking over the lead from the Principal for our personal tax client base of over 200 clients. With clear progression to partnership if desired & ability for further technical qualifications (where required). Part-time hours also possible for a good candidate.
We are a chartered accountancy and tax firm dealing with a diverse range of UK based and international clients, based in a beautiful rural location. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding and successful firm, within a happy and supportive team.
You will get a wealth of experience across personal tax as our clients are typically London-based or international, and we have a large HNW / UHNW / celebrity portfolio of personal tax clients. You will be directly reporting to the Principal, being responsible for managing the personal tax planner, efficiently preparing personal tax returns to a high standard, client management & communication and assisting with ad-hoc technical queries.
To supplement the role during the “quieter” personal tax months there are also opportunities within the wider firm, to additionally assist within our larger Accounts & Tax team, where we produce statutory year end accounts & corporation tax returns, and help manage audits for larger or FCA regulated clients.
We have developed a unique and modern approach to employee support and wellbeing, encouraging flexible working arrangements, a healthy work-life balance and a very generous benefits package which considers all aspects of wellbeing and a healthy outlook.
Candidates must be ATT and preferably CTA qualified with at least 2-3 years’ experience preparing personal tax returns, with good organisational and interpersonal skills.
Remuneration will be determined based on prior experience and qualifications to date but will start at £50,000 plus benefits, although for more experienced candidates will be higher. If you would like to apply for this role, please submit your CV along with a brief covering letter explaining how you could fit well within our firm.
