We seek a Trainee Solicitor/Legal Assistant/Secretary or a paralegal with LL.B or LLM or a relevant degree. Training Contracts are available.
This position is to work in our multi award winning Private Client Team based at our Gosforth Office in Newcastle supporting our fee earners. We are looking for a candidate with prior experience in Wills/Probate.
Our work is of good quality, we deal with Estate Planning, LPA’s, Probate, Court of Protection and Contested Estates. We seek someone who can deal with probate applications, estate accounts, drafting of LPA’s, empty house insurance, house inspections, will drafting.
This department is growing and we are happy to recruit a member of staff who can support us as fee earners or someone who can handle their own caseload.
Many of our clients are business owners, professionals and investors. We obtain good quality work from individuals, their families and businesses. We have many repeat clients. We concentrate on quality of work and pricing rather than high volumes. We do not ask fee earners to fill in six minute units, we prefer to look at billing and contribution to the Team effort and ethos.

We are accredited by the Law Society CQS and Lexcel. We are also winners of the Law Society Excellence Awards Law Firm of the Year Award, British Wills and Probate Awards and British Family Law Awards. We are Dementia Friends, members of Solicitors for Later Life and Resolution.
We can be flexible around hours for the right candidate. You may wish to work five shorter days for child care reasons or 4 days per week.
