Description

DESCRIPTION

We have a unique opportunity for a Legal Advisor in our Trusts team to assist with the current busy workload. With a flexible office location, offering interesting and varied work, this position will play a key role in supporting and expanding the Firm’s client base and new referrals in this area of the practice whilst adopting efficient working practices to ensure commercial objectives are met or surpassed.
In addition to your private client enthusiasm and expertise, we are looking for a team player who values every member of the team and wider firm and their contribution to the success of Porter Dodson. We have a unique offering at PD where we have the benefit of being a larger firm but pride ourselves on having maintained the flexibility, collaborative nature and welcoming environment of a smaller firm.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

Joining our reputable private client department, this role would best suit someone who can demonstrate sound knowledge and a commercial application of the law and practice in this area. With a private client background and trust administration experience, the successful candidate must be able to manage their own caseload with supervision from a Partner. We believe someone with great trusts experience who may not be a qualified solicitor may also be a good fit for this role, so if you feel as though you have the right background, we will welcome an application from you.
You will be ambitious, pro-active, and enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal skills. The right candidate will have a growth mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture.
Porter Dodson offers genuine development opportunities for those who are motivated and flourish in an environment where contribution and commitment is opportunity for career development and progression within a transparent and structured framework.
