For one of our customers, we have been asked to build a private cloud platform that is able to deliver consumable services to their businesses in a highly regulated market. The team that is responsible for the build, and that will assist in the run, will also support the deployment of landing zones on top of the platform and the migration and transformation of business applications in a highly automated fashion.
We are looking for a private cloud engineer who will be involved in building a secure private cloud platform but also knows how to incorporate the new world of landing zones into these highly secure environments. This makes you the glue between the OT and the DevOps world to accelerate business development while at the same time improving compliance and the overall security.
This platform will be build using technology from VMware and will be based on VMware VCF and includes the delivery of consumable services on top of the stack like container platforms, database-as-a-service offerings and others.

In this role, you will be working on building and continuously improving the platform with new features and enhancements, and you will be on the lookout for new innovations or solutions that can be beneficial to the customer. Ultimately, the team provides a highly automated platform in a multi-tenant setup that requires resiliency from the ground up to be able to meet the security, flexibility and availability requirements of our customer. It is up to you as engineer of the platform to make these worlds meet. Besides the platform you will be helping out the customer teams with workloads migrations and transformations once the platform is ready for use.
