Description

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist specialising in older adult rehabilitation who is passionate about holistic care for a full-time position with one of our private healthcare clients.
The core function of this role is to provide clients 65+ years old assessments, treatment, and rehabilitation in any areas of elderly care, balance, rehabilitation, and orthopaedics in the community and facility based. Also there will be some sports cases and general adult MSK cases.
The role is Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm with a Saturday shift once per month.
Driver’s licence is not required as transport arrangements for patient journeys are arranged by the company.

Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent standard of evidence based and person-centred Physiotherapy care by establishing treatment plans, performing physiotherapy treatments, assessing and monitoring treatments plans, assessing environmental needs and identifying (and where relevant organising) equipment needs in the community and in the Clinic based setting.
  • Develop and review treatment programmes together with patients’ goals in mind, that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques.
  • Expected to provide an appropriate mix of hands on, education and exercise-based treatment modalities, adhering as closely as possible to evidence based practice.
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team setting, liaising with Nursing team, Care team, GP, Consultants and other allied health professionals.
  • To comply with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy codes of professional conduct at all times
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain health and safety of our clients and other team members.
