ABOUT THE ROLE: Our Home Health Aides work under the supervisor of the care coordinator and performs various personal care and support services as necessary to meet the resident’s needs. The Aide is responsible for observing clients, reporting and recording these observations and documenting the services provided and the assignments will promote quality, continuity and safety of services. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Private Duty HHA: Personal care assistance such as showers, dressing, grooming Shopping and errands Companionship Medication reminders Light housekeeping such as laundry Assistance with going to medical appointments Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Current HHA certificate or CNA license Current CPR certification. Previous HHA experience great but not required. Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided. Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision. Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.
