OBJECTIVE
The Private Events Sales Manager is a dynamic hospitality leader responsible for driving private dining and special event sales while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role combines proactive sales, strategic planning, and operational leadership to ensure seamless execution of events across multiple venues. The Private Events Sales Manager serves as the primary liaison for private clients, manages end-to-end event processes, partners with internal teams to uphold brand standards, and is accountable for achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
· Proven ability to achieve sales goals and drive revenue growth in hospitality, catering, or event management.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
· Expertise in contract negotiation, event planning, and hospitality operations.
· Strong business acumen with analytical skills to assess performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and event management software; ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
· Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the physical and mental stamina to perform duties in fast-paced, demanding environments. Required to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and move items weighing up to 165 lbs. (e.g., kegs, equipment). Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform event setup and teardown activities for extended periods.
