Description The Private Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the planning, coordination, and execution of private dining and special events across Hickory Tavern. This role blends sales strategy, relationship management, and operational coordination to ensure every event reflects our hospitality standards and delivers exceptional guest experience. Essential Functions Sales & Business Development • Respond to all event inquiries promptly, professionally, and in alignment with brand standards. • Conduct site tours and client meetings to convert leads into confirmed bookings. • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate, social, and repeat clients. • Meet or exceed monthly and annual event sales targets. Event Planning & Coordination • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from inquiry through event execution. • Create detailed event proposals, BEOs, floor plans, and timelines. • Collaborate closely with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. • Maintain accurate event details, updates, and communication in the CRM or event management system. • Ensure all events adhere to company policies, pricing structures, and operational capabilities. Operational & Administrative • Manage event deposits, billing, and final payments in coordination with the finance team. • Maintain organized records of contracts, menus, and event documentation. • Analyze event performance and provide regular reporting to leadership. Requirements Qualifications • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food & beverage, and event logistics. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple events simultaneously. • Proficiency with Tripleseat and OpenTable.
