Position Summary As a Private Events Server/Bartender at 16 On Center HQ, you will be responsible for providing attentive, high-quality service at private gatherings across our venues. You will ensure guests feel welcome and cared for while executing events efficiently and professionally. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set up dining and bar areas according to event standards and timelines Engage with guests professionally and ensure their needs are met Maintain a strong knowledge of event menus, including dietary restrictions and allergens Bartenders: Prepare specialty cocktails and accommodate special requests Serve food and beverages using various service styles, including Passed Service, Buffet, and Sweep Service Assist with event breakdown, including cleaning, consolidating products, and loading equipment Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a seamless guest experience Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements About You: 2-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry BASSET certification (required for all applicants) or ability to obtain before event start ServSafe certification (required for all applicants) or ability to obtain before event start Strong commitment to hospitality and guest experience Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout events Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs as needed Ability to navigate stairs, crowded event spaces, and multiple venue areas as needed Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
