Biomedical Scientist in Blood Transfusion Banding: Band 6 Location: Central London Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Shifts between 8am and 8pm Hourly Rate: £30-33 Umbrella We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Blood Transfusion to join our private client’s team in Central London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service. Key Responsibilities You will carry out blood grouping, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and issue blood components for transfusion. You will ensure safe transfusion practices and regulatory compliance. Qualifications and Experience - HCPC registration - Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent - Experience in Blood Transfusion within a clinical laboratory and Quality Management Systems beneficial - Familiarity with LIMS and transfusion analysers - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - NHS experience (preferred) Why Work with Pulse?
