Description Private music teachers provide music lessons about how to sing or play a musical instrument to students within school settings. Responsibilities: Plan and prepare lessons in relation to an individual's needs and examination. Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources. Plan, schedule and execute private, individual instruction on their primary instrument or voice. Motivate students and encourage progress. Perform other duties as requested. Requirements Music Degree. Experience providing private, individual instruction on their primary instrument or voice. Familiarity and ability with distance learning models/formats. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to recognize and correct errors. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Private music instructors plan and prepare lessons tailored to individual student needs and execute private instruction on their primary instrument. They also motivate students and encourage their progress while performing additional duties as requested.
