Position: Custodian (full-time) Department: Custodial - ServiceFM LLC Reports To: Custodial Manager Employment Type: Hourly (Non-Exempt) Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning and doing floor maintenance in a school facility in the Green Hills area (Nashville). The Custodian is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, wet and dry mopping, restroom, gym, classrooms, and/or cafeteria cleaning, trash removal, grounds debris removal, window and door cleaning, and more. Set up and clean up for events, which may involve moving furniture. Perform floor and carpet maintenance periodically (school breaks). Hours: Regular Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Overtime Opportunities: Available. Requirements Qualifications: Successful completion of a required background check to work in a school environment. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pulling, and pushing. Strong customer service skills and a responsible work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Capability to precisely track and log work hours using a smartphone or computer Ability to work in a Smoke-free environment Compensation Hourly wage: $16.94 Full-time Benefits (after 60 days; minimum of 30 hrs per week consistent requirement) Voluntary health insurance (medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, disability, accident, critical illness - employee premiums).
