Private Tutor (Accounting, Statistics, and Math)

We are seeking individuals capable of tutoring university-level Math, Statistics, and Accounting. There is a particular need for tutors specializing in 3rd- and 4th-year Statistics.
We would love for individuals to also be available to do in-person tutoring for these subjects.

Job Summary:We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to join our team. As a tutor at Westbrook, you’ll work with students providing instruction in a subject you have mastered. Subjects such as math, science, English, and more. This is a flexible, part-time role that allows you to work around your schedule while making a real impact on students’ lives. We are currently hiring for tutors who have great in-person availability and can travel to the homes of our trusted clients.
Additional remuneration is provided for tutors who will drive to student’s homes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a college/university (required)
• Have reliable transportation to the client’s home
• Proficiency in the subject(s) you wish to tutor
• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring preferred

• Tailor instruction to meet each student’s unique learning style and academic goals
• Track and report students’ progress, adjusting strategies as needed
