We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our growing team in Sherwood Park. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing students’ learning experiences and helping them achieve their academic goals. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to provide exceptional educational support to children of all ages.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Has achieved, or is pursuing, post-secondary accreditation (BEd, BSc, BA, BKin, BMus, BComm, etc).
• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
• Ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment.
• Classroom experience is an asset but not mandatory.
• Passion for education and commitment to student success.

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and challenges.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
