JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a privately held Single-Family Office that provides comprehensive wealth management and advisory services to preserve and grow generational wealth. The Private Wealth Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to family members, overseeing all aspects of their financial wellbeing. This includes managing investment portfolios, facilitating estate and tax planning strategies, coordinating with legal and tax advisors, and ensuring seamless execution of the family’s financial vision.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; CFA, CFP, CPA, or MBA preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in private wealth management, family office, or private banking.
  • Proven track record of managing UHNW client relationships with a holistic advisory approach.
  • Strong investment acumen and understanding of trust, estate, and tax planning.
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor multi-asset class investment portfolios in alignment with family goals and risk profiles.
  • Perform asset allocation analysis and work with internal or external investment managers.
  • Provide strategic insights on public and private market opportunities, alternative investments, and impact investing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial matters related to family members.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of each individual’s financial preferences, objectives, and life stage needs.
  • Communicate regularly through reviews, updates, and bespoke financial planning sessions.
  • Coordinate estate planning, tax optimization, succession planning, and trust structures in collaboration with legal and tax advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting obligations across jurisdictions.
  • Support philanthropy and charitable giving efforts, including foundation management if applicable.
  • Oversee financial reporting, cash flow planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor family office operations, including bill payment, insurance, property, and lifestyle assets.Contribute to or lead family governance initiatives, including education of next-generation members.
