Description We are seeking a skilled Scrub Tech to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support in the operating room, including acting as a scrub tech, in an outpatient facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assist physicians during procedures by managing instruments, supplies, and equipment. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all sterile protocols. Prepare and set up sterile fields with instruments and medications/solutions. Scrub, gown, and glove as necessary for procedures. Assist with patient preparation, including sterile prep and draping. Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization post-procedure. Document intra-procedure details as needed. Support the team in cleaning procedure rooms and managing supply inventory. Act as a mentor and preceptor for new scrub tech hires. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Certification for Surgical Technologists preferred. Minimum of one year of operating room experience (student experience accepted). CPR certification (renewable every two years). Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask during procedures. Required to travel to the Arrowhead Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally stand/walk. Ability to assist patients as needed with walking, sitting, reading, and writing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
