EIHC is seeking a full-time Pharmacist dedicated to serving the needs of our community.   SCHEDULE PRN Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5:30 PM   COMPENSATION   $50.00-$90.00 per hour, compensation is based on previous work experience, education, certification, and other relevant factors.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES * Ensure pharmacy operations are managed and performed legally, ethically, and in accordance with the highest professional standards and with organization policy. * Process incoming new prescriptions, refills, and transfer requests. * Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems and ensures prescriptions are filled and dispensed accurately. * Reviews drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe drug therapy; documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts. * Provides individualized patient consultation, drug information and education to medical staff and patients. * Provides direct supervision, training and development of pharmacy staff. * Collaborate with prescribers and clinical staff to improve health outcomes and safety  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD. * Current State of Iowa License or ability to obtain one prior to start date. * One year of clinical/community pharmacy experience preferred. * Experience in 340B program desired. * Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel), pharmacy software and electronic health record.
