Description PRN Dentist Location: Charles City, Virginia Employment Type: As Needed (PRN) Contract Job Summary Vision Quest Solutions is seeking a PRN Dentist to provide comprehensive dental services in support of the Indian Health Service (IHS) at the Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center. This is a non-personal services contract providing coverage for provider absences, vacancies, and other staffing needs. Services are performed on an as-needed basis during normal clinic hours. Requirements Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. Perform examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive dental services. Perform restorative procedures, extractions, endodontic procedures, periodontal care, and emergency dental treatment. Interpret dental radiographs and diagnostic studies. Prescribe medications within the scope of practice. Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate. Maintain complete and timely electronic medical records. Participate in clinic meetings as requested. Follow all IHS and Mid-Atlantic Tribal Health Center policies and infection control standards. Minimum Qualifications DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental program. Active, unrestricted dental license. Minimum of 12 months of recent clinical dental experience within the past 5 years. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Board Certified. DEA registration (required for credentialing). Professional liability insurance of at least $1M/$3M. Ability to obtain IHS credentialing, privileging, security clearance, and background investigation. Schedule PRN/As Needed Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM No weekends Federal holidays observed.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and restorative procedures for patients of all ages. Maintain electronic medical records and coordinate specialist referrals while adhering to IHS and clinic policies.
