As a PRN LVN, you will be responsible for supporting the overall nursing department, especially in the administration of vaccinations. Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Administering vaccinations to patients. Recording and updating patient histories. Discussing health care issues and concerns. Providing assistance with therapies. Drawing blood for testing. Acting as a point of contact for the patients. Requirements Skills and Specifications: Communication skills: LVNs must communicate with doctors and patients and relay sensitive information. Time management skills: An LVN may be expected to give care to multiple patients at any given time. It is critical to manage time in an efficient manner and take care of duties before ending your shifts. Decision-making skills: Exercise the capacity to make important decisions during the treatment of a patient. Education and Qualifications: A valid LVN license with the Texas Board of Nursing is required. Vaccination certification and experience are required. Ability to work flexible schedules. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, nurses, and other company personnel. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Proficiency in any of the following languages is highly encouraged: Spanish Arabic French Vietnamese Hindi Gujarati Urdu
