Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health North Pinellas, which is a 160-bed facility and a small community hospital. All primarily geriatric population. Joint commission certified for joint hip and total knee program and holds a primary stroke certification. There are 5 total floors to the hospital including 1 critical care unit and 1 step down unit. This is an all-acute care hospital. PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Occupational Therapist Assistant Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc) Qualifications Graduate ACOTE approved occupational therapy assistant program Current or pending state licensure Basic Life Support certification Compensation Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour A Mission That Moves Us At PT Solutions, we are a team united by a shared purpose: expanding access to transformative care.
