Experience & Key Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during a variety of clinical procedures for patients of all ages. Take orthodontic records including X-rays, impressions, and photos as needed. Support patient comfort and confidence throughout treatment appointments. Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas following infection control protocols. Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and appliance care. Maintain clean, organized treatment spaces and assist with inventory and supply restocking as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management. Requirements Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred. Current dental assistant registration/licensure as required by Washington State. Comfortable working with patients of all ages—including teens and adults. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Ability to adapt to a flexible, as-needed (PRN) schedule.
