We are currently hiring a PRN PET/CT Technologist for our new Orlando location, with the opportunity for this role to transition into a full-time position as the center continues to expand. Preferred availability between 7 AM – 7 PM with flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts as needed. Position Overview PET/CT Technologists at Precision Imaging Centers play a critical role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in an outpatient environment that prioritizes comfort, safety, and image clarity. Key Responsibilities Perform PET/CT imaging studies following physician protocols Prepare patients for exams and clearly explain procedures Position patients safely and accurately for imaging procedures Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media per protocol and safety guidelines Monitor patients during tracer uptake and scanning procedures Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary Maintain PET/CT equipment and complete routine quality assurance checks Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow Follow radiation safety and compliance standards Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program Valid Florida license in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, as applicable ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification preferred BLS Certification Experience with venipuncture Prior PET or PET/CT experience preferred What We’re Looking For Detail-oriented with strong patient care and communication skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Professional, calm demeanor in a fast-paced outpatient environment Willingness to learn and cross-train in additional modalities Motivated to contribute to a positive, team-focused culture Your Impact Starts Here At Precision Imaging Centers, you’re not just performing scans — you’re helping deliver fast, accurate answers that make a difference in patients’ lives.
