Job Details Job Location: Hartselle Emergency Department - Hartselle, AL 35640 Position Type: Part Time - .4 Job Shift: Any Job Category: Health Care Job Summary / Duties As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide quality patient care as a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, therapists and nursing assistants. Other responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist position include: Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes Perform timely and accurate documentation Promote continuous quality improvement Teach and counsel patients/families Qualifications Requirements Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and licensed in the State of AL. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Experience: Two years respiratory therapy experience and 2 year emergency room experience (preferred) Additional Skills / Abilities: Must be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Must be positive and caring with a customer-service oriented attitude.
