Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders. Provide training and education to clients, family, caregivers, and other professionals as a subject matter expert. Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS, FEES) as ordered by physician. Requirements PRN Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications: Active/Valid Illinois license in Speech-Language Pathology SNF/Long term care experience preferred. Current knowledge of treatment practices Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide skilled, medically necessary therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance client independence and functioning. Responsibilities also include providing AAC systems, educating various stakeholders, and collaborating on diagnostic swallowing procedures.
