Description Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, swallowing disorders and assisting with cognitive decline prevention services. Communicating with the patient, their family members, and physicians to design effective treatment plans. Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies. Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required. Attending patient focused meetings and other team meetings as needed. Provide efficient services within compliance guidelines Perform timely and supportive documentation Collaborate with Team Members on cases Adhere to ethical and legal standards Requirements Master's degree in speech therapy or speech-language pathology. Relevant license and certification. Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments. Excellent relationship-building skills. Experience with long-term care setting Full time day shift
