Description Advanced Home Health and Hospice of Albuquerque is looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our home health team. Requirements Responsibilities and Duties Performs speech therapy assessments, diagnostic tests, skilled treatments, and ongoing evaluation for clients who are receiving services under a medically approved Plan of Care. Implements teaching appropriate to the client’s needs and abilities, and evaluates the effectiveness of the plan. Develops care plan guidelines for other members of the team to support the client's goals. Performs job in compliance with Agency policies and procedures and professional and community standards. Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job Coach, teach, and mentor. Support AHC culture by promoting “Friendly, Positive, and Focused on Excellence”. Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of Advanced Health Care. All other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in speech-language pathology. A minimum of one (1) year experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience preferred. VitalStim Therapy experience. Must have a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal skills. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication disorders. License/Certification: Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Mexico.
