Job Description **This is a continuous recruitment position and is part-time, non-benefited** The primary responsibility of the Modlin Center for the Arts Pro House Manager is to oversee the safety and security of 600 patrons before, during, and after performances in the Modlin Center venues. The House Manager supervises all front-of-house staffing and operations for Modlin Center events. The Pro House Manager is the primary point of communication between various Modlin Center staff members at events. Required Qualifications: Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Crisis management skills Excellent organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred Qualification: A retail or service background is helpful Ability to use a Motorola two-way communication device Ability to use email, shared drives, and electronic filing systems Ability to use a Macintosh computer and Microsoft Office Suite for Macintosh EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or educational equivalent Minimum two years of professional experience in house management Retail experience or experience working with the public WORK HOURS: This is a casual part-time position that works as needed.
