Position Overview:   The Pro Shop Assistant at Edgewood Tahoe Resort is a key ambassador for the golf experience at our world-class golf course and luxury resort.  This position serves as a primary point of contact for tee time management, golf-related inquiries, and premium retail sales, while upholding the highest standards of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is service-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about golf and luxury guest experiences.   Key Responsibilities: * Provide a warm, professional, and personalized welcome to members and guests. * Assist guests with tee times, check-ins, pace-of-play coordination, and general golf inquiries. * Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for the golf course, resort amenities, and local offerings. * Manage tee sheets using the club’s point-of-sale and tee time reservation systems. * Coordinate with starters, marshals, and golf professionals to ensure smooth daily operations. * Communicate course conditions, weather updates, tournament schedules, and policies to guests. * Assist with sales of premium golf apparel, processing transactions accurately, including special orders, and returns. * Maintain an elevated retail presentation through merchandising, cleanliness, and inventory organization. * Demonstrate product knowledge to enhance guest confidence and purchasing decisions. * Uphold the resort’s brand standards, dress code, and service expectations at all times. * Maintain a polished, courteous, and discreet presence consistent with a luxury environment. * Perform other related duties as assigned to support the success of the team and business. Qualifications and Skills: * Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Previous experience in golf operations, hospitality, and luxury retail preferred. * Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. * Working knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, pace of play requirements, POS systems, and tee-time software. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. * Professional appearance and demeanor required. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs. *  Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
