Description Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers is seeking a detail-oriented and personable individual to join our Pro Shop Staff. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our Golf Shop and reception area, as well as providing excellent customer service to our members and guests. Duties and Essential Job Functions: - Warmly greet members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. - Handle all incoming phone calls, assist with tee time reservations, and provide information about the club's offerings. - Maintain the Golf Shop's merchandise presentation and ensure that inventory is attractively displayed. - Collaborate with Outside Services to ensure seamless coordination of tee times and proper pace of play. - Communicate tee sheet changes and updates to Outside Staff using radio communication. - Educate new and prospective members about Lexington's products, services, and amenities. - Manage records related to bag storage, handicaps, league play, and other relevant information. Qualifications: - While prior golf-related experience is ideal, it is not a strict requirement. - Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively interact with members and guests. - Proficiency in using computer systems for reservations, point of sale, and other tasks. - Positive interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. - Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. - Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and bending while performing job duties. Job Status: Part-time (16-24 hours weekly) Availability: Must be available to work as needed, and hours will vary based on facility requirements.
