Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), this role leads UOW’s learning and teaching agenda at a pivotal time of transformation. You will shape future-ready curriculum, champion innovative pedagogy, and enhance student success across a diverse, multi-campus university ranked among the world’s top 1%. About the role As PVC (Teaching & Learning), you will: Provide strategic leadership for curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and student experience Lead institution-wide curriculum renewal and embed UOW’s distinctive education model Drive innovation in digital and technology-enabled learning Strengthen academic quality, governance and regulatory alignment Foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture that supports teaching excellence Represent UOW nationally and internationally on education and student experience About you You are a respected academic leader with: A doctoral qualification and substantive professorial standing Senior leadership experience in learning and teaching in higher education Deep expertise in curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment and educational technologies A proven ability to lead complex, cross-institutional change Strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across diverse communities Why UOW UOW is a globally recognised university with a strong regional foundation and international outlook.
