Kean Miller is seeking an experienced Litigation Partnership Track Attorney in our Houston office. Qualified candidates will possess minimum of two years of experience in fiduciary litigation matters and complex probate and trust matters. The Firm represents a wide array of individuals and financial institutions in the context of probate and trust matters which often involve high net-worth individuals and trusts. Qualified candidates must be capable of developing and executing sophisticated litigation strategies and settling multi-issue disputes. The candidate should possess the following characteristics: Current Texas law license Min of 2 years’ experience in probate litigation Strong legal research and advocacy skills Ability to draft documents which require technical competencies while also being persuasive Solid understanding and application of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence Ability to successfully interface with a client and manage a client’s expectations Experience defending and taking depositions Ability to manage a docket of cases and build his or her own practice Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong writing skills and excellent references. Candidates must demonstrate the ability and the desire to interact with Kean Miller’s clients and to further develop client and referral relationships.
